Gear coupling is a common mechanical part for gear reducer to transmit torque. It is composed of the parts with the same tooth number and the flange half coupling with the outer teeth.
When the gear coupling is loaded, the surface of the gear will cause friction and heat due to the micro reciprocating motion, especially under the high speed condition. If the tooth surface is not properly lubricated, it will wear quickly or even be glued, so we must not neglect the lubrication condition in the design.
Oil storage lubrication. The lubricating oil is fired by the nozzle, and the lubricating oil is kept in the outer circle of the gear by the centrifugal force when the lubricating oil is rotated.
